Rachel Meyer
Executive Director, J.P. Morgan Private Bank
Rachel manages client relationships for the J.P. Morgan Private Bank in Houston. She advises high net worth individuals and families on all aspects of their financial picture including banking, lending, investing, and estate planning. Rachel utilizes a tailored approach based on a deep understanding of each client’s goals, and engages J.P. Morgan’s select team of specialists in delivering the comprehensive wealth management capabilities of the firm. In addition to her client responsibilities, Rachel served as one of 30 advisors worldwide on the 2018-2019 Global Associate Council and leads MBA recruiting in Houston.
Rachel received her MBA from the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University and her BBA in Finance from The University of Texas. Prior to business school, Rachel was Vice President of JHL Company, where she helped lead the firm’s non-profit consulting practice. Before joining JHL, Rachel served as Deputy Finance Director for then-Attorney General Greg Abbott’s campaign, where she was responsible for statewide fundraising and operations.
A native Houstonian, Rachel is involved with mentoring at her alma maters, St. Agnes Academy and Rice Business School. She serves on the Board of the Rice Business Partners, the Governance Council of the Friends of Child Advocates, and on the PTO at her sons’ school. She is a member of the Hermann Park Conservancy, Houston Zoo, Children’s Museum of Houston, and Friends of SEARCH’s House of Tiny Treasures. Rachel and her husband have two young sons, Ben and Jackson. She holds her Series 7 and 63 Licenses.
