What about the Rice MBA program has surprised you the most?
I was pleasantly surprised too see the opportunities Rice has for Finance and Entrepreneurship. I was surprised how much Rice has to offer in Entrepreneurship space such as New Enterprise, Ignite, Rice alliance, Lilie lab for Entrepreneurship ,and Owl careers. Another thing that I find incredible about Rice is the close knit community. Alumni here genuinely want to help the students with their career progression.
What has been your favorite moment of your Rice MBA experience so far?
My favorite moment of Rice MBA was Ignite, a very recent and very enlightening experience. I had no idea how amazing it would be to learn from the Entrepreneurs about their experiences. Also, the negotiation and leadership ILE were great practical experiences to learn from.
What is your favorite thing about and/or favorite spot in Houston?
I think Houston is an incredible place to live in. The weather is amazing and so is the city. I don't have a particular place that I have liked a lot but the variety of experiences has been great. Being an international student, it has been incredible to be in a city which has dedicated Indian market such as Hillcroft where I can enjoy a variety of Indian cuisines, which is hard to find in many cities in US.
In a sentence, what is the one piece of advice you have for prospective students?
Learn about the opportunities your school has to offer you in the area that you are looking to specialize in.
