Nick Tran

Nick Tran is the Managing Partner of Invictus Ventures Group, Inc., where he focuses on advancing veteran-owned and women-led enterprises that lead the charge in holistic health and groundbreaking cryptocurrency innovation.
A decorated U.S. Army veteran, Nick served in multiple combat deployments, including Operation Desert Storm, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation Iraqi Freedom. His service earned him numerous distinctions, including two Combat Action Badges, two Army Commendation Medals, the Afghanistan Campaign Medal, the Iraqi Campaign Medal, the Kuwait Liberation Medal, the Southwest Asia Service Medal, and the Governor’s Twenty Tab.
After transitioning from military service, Nick brought his discipline and leadership to the corporate arena. As Head of Global Veterans Affairs & Programs at Schlumberger Limited (SLB), he built and expanded the company’s veterans program, earning Schlumberger the Military-Friendly Employer Award for eight consecutive years. Under his leadership, the company achieved an extraordinary #1 ranking in the U.S. in 2024.
Earlier in his career, Nick held key leadership roles in Human Resources, including Talent Acquisition Manager at Express Energy and Recruiting Manager at Igloo Products Corp. He has contributing acknowledgments in *Recruiting for Dummies*, by Paula Manning & Jennifer Brugh, published in 2001, and *Hiring Veterans*, by Matthew J. Louis, published in 2024.
Nick’s academic achievements include graduating from Harvard Business School’s Program for Leadership Development (PLD), an executive MBA alternative focused on leadership, transformation, and innovation. He also completed the Susanne M. Glasscock School of Continuing Studies Program for Professional Human Resource Development at Rice University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Leadership (Magna Cum Laude) from Trident University in California.
