What has been the most surprising part of your Rice MBA? How quickly a strong community forms. I didn’t expect to feel this connected so fast between bonding with classmates, learning from second years, and the fun of partios, it’s been an amazing and welcoming experience.

What has been your favorite thing about your MBA experience? Getting the chance to connect with professionals across so many industries. Whether it’s through guest speakers, networking events, or company visits, I’ve met people with roles and experiences I wouldn’t normally have access to, and those conversations have been incredibly eye-opening.

What do you love most about Houston? I love how much there is to explore: amazing museums, huge parks like Hermann, and how easy it is to take a quick trip to Galveston for a beach day. It’s a great mix of culture, nature, and weekend getaways.

What is one piece of advice you would share with a prospective? In the midst of recruiting and networking stress, don’t lose sight of the fact that you came here to learn and grow.
