Matthew Phillips

Mr. Phillips is a Director and lead Equity Research Analyst covering the Midstream/MLP sector from our Houston office. Prior to joining Guggenheim, Mr. Phillips was a Senior Midstream & Shipping Analyst at Clarksons Platou, a specialist energy investment bank affiliated with world’s largest ship and offshore rig broker. Mr. Phillips’ work focuses on the shale revolution and the growing interconnections between U.S. & global energy markets. Previously, he was at Citigroup, in New York, as an Associate on the Midstream/MLP equity research team. Mr. Phillips holds a degree in Finance from the University of Georgia.
