Maria Chavarriaga

Maria Chavarriaga is the customer Service Manager at Vopak Deer Park Terminal, with over 19 years of international experience in operations and technical sales management. She started her career as a field Engineer in South Texas, where she learnt to understand and enjoyed being part of the oilfield workers culture and mindset. Throughout her career, Maria obtained recognitions, such as the Chairman Silver award, for developing and implementing technical projects tailored to find customer operational challenges solutions, and commercial awards for new technologies sales and deployment. She is a firm believer in employee engagement and team collaboration and a mother of 3 daughters who every day raise the bar of her technology knowledge and patience.
