Margaret McConn, CPA, CGMA, is a Trustee and Officer of Rockwell Fund, Inc., a private foundation. Rockwell Fund supports various 501(c)(3) organizations that tackle issues critical to communities in the Greater Houston Area, such as drop-out prevention, mental and public health, workforce development, and supportive housing.
Prior to joining Rockwell Fund (a former client), Margaret had a private consulting and tax practice for 12 years, where she also provided contract comptrollership services to a number of clients. Before opening her own business, she worked for Arthur Andersen and Coopers & Lybrand.
Margaret is a graduate of Rice University where she earned a BA in Managerial Studies (’76) and a MAcc (’77) from the Jones Graduate School of Business. She was one of the inaugural officers of the Jones School Alumni Association. While an undergraduate at Rice, Margaret was a cheerleader and homecoming queen, and she also earned a Varsity letter in Women’s Basketball.
