Lauren Miller

Lauren Miller currently serves as the VP of Landowner Relations for Soil Value Exchange, a nature-based carbon sequestration company. She is an experienced entrepreneur, having started and led a venture-funded company serving many industries, including energy, agriculture and retail. While getting her MBA at Rice, Lauren worked in energy and clean tech for Silicon Valley Bank and SURGE Accelerator. She was also involved with the entrepreneurship program at Rice and competing in several business plan competitions, ultimately winning approximately $600K in total prizes at the Rice Business Plan Competition. Prior to her MBA, she led economic development programs around the world promoting sustainable growth. Lauren was listed on the 2015 Forbes "30 Under 30" in the energy category.
