Lauren Grabski
Director of Business Strategy, National Oilwell Varco
Lauren Grabski is the Director of Business Strategy for the Completion and Production segment at National Oilwell Varco. After being hired into NOV’s Next Generation management training program in 2006, she has held roles in engineering, project management, operations, and finance. In her current position, she focuses on strategy development and implementation for the various business units within the Completion and Production segment.
Lauren earned her BS in biomedical engineering in 2005 from Washington University in St. Louis, where she also served as captain of the varsity cross country and track teams. In 2010, she earned her MBA from Rice University, where she served as an admissions counselor and was Treasurer of the Multisport Club.
In addition to serving on the Alumni Board for the Jones School, Lauren is actively involved in several industry organizations in Houston. She is involved with the Petroleum Equipment and Services Association, and serves on various committees for the Society of Professional Women in Petroleum. In her free time, Lauren enjoys running, reading, and spending time with her three dogs. She also volunteers with Buster’s Friends, a local non-profit that works to find homes for abused and abandoned animals. Lauren has set a personal goal to visit all seven continents; she has been to five so far.
