Laura Schilling
Global Business Development Manager, Halliburton Production Solutions
Laura Schilling is Global Business Development Manager for Halliburton Production Solutions. As a member of the product line leadership team, she drives commercial strategy and business development for global well intervention services over 20 countries. Previously she was the Global Account Manager for Shell responsible for commercializing upstream solutions for onshore and deep water projects. Prior to these roles, Laura led Halliburton’s operations as District Manager for the Denver-Julesburg (DJ) Basin in Colorado, which included managing the delivery of hydraulic fracturing, cementing, completion tools, coiled tubing and wireline services to the Niobrara play. During her tenure, she expanded the business to over 1000 employees, managed the deployment of over $100M in capital and grew the district into Halliburton’s second largest operation in the Rocky Mountains more than doubling revenue to approximately $750M. In 2016, she was named one of the "Women to Watch in Energy" by Houston Business Journal. Laura joined Halliburton in 2003 and has held various global leadership roles in product commercialization, project management and investor relations. Laura holds a bachelor’s degree of science from the University of Houston and a Masters of Business Administration from Rice University. She is a graduate of Halliburton’s 2008 President’s Leadership Excellence Program, the company’s year- long leadership development program. She currently sits on the Advisory Board for Pink Petro, the first social media career platform dedicated to women in energy and is a passionate supporter of veterans transitioning into civilian life through the Yellow Ribbon Fund and Rice Veterans in Business.
