What has been the most surprising part of your Rice MBA? For me, it has been a genuine sense of community. I expected rigorous academics, but I found that everyone, students, faculty, and staff truly cares about each other. It’s refreshing to be part of such a supportive, inclusive environment.

What has been your favorite thing about your MBA experience? My favorite thing is looking forward to potentially traveling to Panama for GFE, I’m really excited about that opportunity. In the meantime, events like Partio and WILC have been fantastic, making my MBA experience both fun and enriching.

What do you love most about Houston? I love that Houston is incredibly diverse and has a vibrant culture. The amazing food scene, rich arts, and welcoming vibe have made every experience memorable for me and my spouse. There's always something new to explore in Houston, whether it's discovering unique neighborhoods or visiting centers of attraction. Houston truly feels like home, and it's hard to imagine ever wanting to leave.

What is one piece of advice you would share with a prospective? Embrace every opportunity for growth and connection because your time at Rice will transform your perspective and shape your future within that short span.
