Ian J.H. Reynolds

Ian founded Thesis Capital Partners in 2017 and leads firm strategy, capital formation and investment oversight. Over his career he has advised on more than $10 billion of M&A and restructuring transactions, and he is the architect of T.H.O.R. (Talent First, Hunt, Operationalize, Refine), the firm's framework for sourcing, acquiring and building lower middle market businesses. Before Thesis he served as Head of Venture Partners at Golden Section Venture Capital, and earlier worked in energy finance, commodity trading and strategic advisory roles. In February 2026 Thesis launched Thesis Partners II, targeting up to $150 million for control investments in founder-owned companies with $3 million to $15 million of EBITDA. He chairs or sits on several portfolio company boards, including Cadillac Services.
