Howard Wei

Howard Wei, who began pivoting his career in 2023, is a current MBA expected to graduate in May 2025. He is an external relation co-chair for this year’s Rice Energy Finance Summit, as well as the mentorship chair for the Finance Association. Before pursuing graduate school, Howard received a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.

Having completed an investment banking internship, Howard is now pursuing a finance associate role in the energy financing industry while mentoring prospective investment banking candidates interested in recruiting for energy financing and other industries. Outside of work, Howard actively participates in basketball leagues, surfs and drives for Grassroots Motorsports.
