Govinda Avasarala

Govinda is a partner in the Boston Consulting Group’s Washington, D.C. office. He is a core member of BCG’s energy and private equity practice areas. In particular, Govinda supports infrastructure funds and private equity clients across a range of topics, including investment strategy, diligence, market assessments and portfolio company strategy. He also has project experience in operations improvement and transformations, and has worked on projects in Australia, Canada, Nigeria, and Saudi Arabia. Prior to BCG, Govinda was a senior consultant with BP’s internal consulting firm in Houston, TX, and was a senior researcher at the Brookings Institution’s Energy Security Initiative in Washington, DC. He earned his MBA from INSEAD in France and Singapore, and his B.Sc. in economics from the University of Mary Washington.
