Galen Joneja

Galen is a New Energy Business Manager at SLB, focused on scaling sustainable business enabled by differentiated technologies that create value for customers and partners.  His current focus area is decarbonization solutions for cloud and data center operations.  Previously, Galen worked as an investment manager in the SLB Corporate Ventures group, handling early-stage technology investments for Schlumberger’s New Energy business, including sourcing, due diligence, negotiation, and portfolio management.  After starting in oilfield services as a cementing engineer in Texas, he has held various management roles in operations, business development, planning and supply chain, and human resources during a 17-year SLB career spanning multiple continents. Galen holds an MBA from the Jones Business School at Rice University and a degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Maryland.
