Derick D. Perkins

Derick Perkins holds MHA/MBA from University of Houston–Clear Lake and Bachelor of Business Administration from University of Memphis.

He has over twenty years of Revenue Cycle Healthcare Management experience. He oversaw  the Revenue Cycle for the Memorial Hermann Health System’s Medical Group which comprises of over 90 Primary/Specialty clinics, 9 Urgent Cares and 7 Convenient Care Centers. Under his leadership, the Medical Group won two Impact Awards which is the highest honor for the health system. Prior to his current role, Derick was an Executive Leader with E&Y and Deloitte which allowed him to implement Best Practice Solutions for many large integrated health systems. He specialized in financial turnarounds and all aspects of revenue cycle optimization for hospitals and physician practices.

Derick is a Board member with the Healthcare Financial Management Association Gulf Coast Chapter and active member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. Derick lives in Katy with his amazing wife and son and together they “conquer” golf courses and enjoy Houston’s excitingly eclectic culture.
