What about the Rice MBA program has surprised you the most?
There is an incredible dynamic around supporting one another. I think there are some misconceptions about the competitive nature of business school. I've found Rice to be a very collaborative and team-oriented environment.
What has been your favorite moment of your Rice MBA experience so far?
One of my favorite MBA experiences thus far was the strategy course we took in our first Fall semester. It was an incredibly active classroom experience and was a great way to engage with our classmates right out of the gate.
What is your favorite thing about and/or favorite spot in Houston?
For many reasons, I love the diversity of Houston. One of many rewarding benefits from that cultural diversity is the fantastic food available. I would recommend everyone get out and explore the many hundreds of excellent restaurants.
In a sentence, what is the one piece of advice you have for prospective students?
Being in school is a unique and special opportunity, the only right approach is to dive fully into the experience at every level.
