CJ Holderread

​​CJ is a class of 2023 full-time MBA candidate at Rice University. He is originally from Kingwood, Texas, and got his B.B.A. in Energy Commerce from Texas Tech University in 2018. Along with his involvement with the REFS Committee, he is a member of the Jones Student Association (JSA) and the Finance Association.

Before Rice Business, CJ worked for Equinor as a land representative. In this role, he worked directly with landowners and regulatory agencies to secure the right to explore for and develop minerals and other energy sources.

CJ enjoys networking with professionals in the energy space and discussing the world’s future energy needs.
