State Organizer, New American Economy (NAE)

Chelsie Kramer is the State Organizer for New American Economy (NAE) which is a national bipartisan research and advocacy organization making the economic case for smarter immigration policies that would grow the U.S. economy and create jobs for all Americans. There she focuses on building relationships and creating a broad Texas network that can be mobilized to engage in the immigration debate through the lens of the positive economic impact immigrants have on the Texas economy. Her unique experience over the past decade working as an executive director for the Texas Association of Business (TAB), field director for campaigns for statewide office, and as a policy staffer for a state Senator, have supplied her with a deep understanding of the legislative process in Austin, as well as insight into how communities and groups work to influence policy.
