What has been the most surprising part of your Rice MBA? I have been pleasantly surprised about the connections I have made with my classmates (first and second year). It has been very rewarding! I know Rice was a tight-knit network but it really does feel like you belong here when you are here (not just talked about).
What has been your favorite thing about your MBA experience? The discussions in the classroom and hearing from all the different opinions and backgrounds of my classmates has been my favorite thing about the MBA so far. It has really opened my mind to a whole new world outside of my own and now I get to carry these experiences and vast knowledge with me on to my future career.
What do you love most about Houston? I have been here my whole life and plan on staying here for a long time! There is always something to do, an event going on, or a new restaurant to try!
What is one piece of advice you would share with a prospective? I wanted to take the summer off to give myself a burn out break before the year truly started - don't do this and really prep and start applying and reaching out to Rice alum at different prospective jobs (start coffee chatting and recruiting in the summer.
