Jared Johnson

Jared leads SBA business acquisition lending at First Internet Bank and is the only two-time winner of Coleman Publishing's SBA Business Development Officer of the Year award. He has built roughly $850 million in career lending volume, more than $500 million of it at First Internet Bank, and works closely with search funds, entrepreneurs and university programs. Before joining the bank in 2020 he held SBA roles at BankUnited, Community Bank and US Bank. He also brings an owner's perspective, having acquired a middle market manufacturing company and exited successfully, and hosts the podcast “Before You Buy or Sell a Business.”
