Gary Cooper

Gary is President and CEO of Cooper CPA Group, the full-service accounting and consulting firm he founded in Houston in 2004. Before relocating to Houston he built and ran a multimillion dollar accounting practice in Dallas from 1989 to 2002. With more than 35 years in public accounting, his expertise includes tax compliance, litigation support and business acquisitions, including pricing, asset allocation, working capital analysis and tax impact. Known locally as the “rock star CPA,” he hosts a monthly jam session for Houston executives at the firm's in-office music studio.
