Chris Barrett

Chris founded Midwest CPA in 2022 after seeing that most accounting firms were not built for entrepreneurs buying and growing companies. He has since advised on hundreds of acquisitions and built a nationwide team that has become a go-to resource in the ETA community for quality of earnings, due diligence and post-close accounting; in one recent year the firm completed 61 QoE reports. Before founding the firm he was Corporate Controller at Dairyfood USA and held plant controller and cost analyst roles at Hormel Foods. He is a Luther College graduate.
