Rice Business Gives Back with Kids' Meals!

In lieu of our traditional Spring Volunteer Day, Rice Business Gives Back is rallying to support Kids’ Meals! As much as we would love to see our traditional volunteer day play out in the greater Houston area, we are challenged still in Covid times to provide a different alternative this term as a part of the greater Rice community. 

Since 2006, Kids’ Meals has been making and delivering free, healthy meals directly to the homes of hungry children. Since its inception, they have given more than 8 million free meals to food insecure children in 42 Houston-area zip codes. Their mission is to end childhood hunger by delivering free healthy meals to the doorsteps of Houston’s hungriest preschool-aged children and, through collaboration, provide their families with resources to help end the cycle of poverty. 

Please join Rice Business Gives Back at one of the available times to:
(1)    Decorate lunch bags for the children!
(2)    Assemble and stuff the bags to make lunch packs!
