This panel will explore the university’s current and upcoming projects, including transformative investments at The Ion District, such as The Arc at the Ion, and discuss how institutional real estate strategy supports innovation, entrepreneurship, and long-term value creation.

Featured speakers Scott Irby, a Rice Business alumnus from the Class of 2019, and Laura Thurmond will share perspectives on development, placemaking, and the university’s role in shaping Houston’s future.
