1st Pitch is an opportunity to pitch your idea, project, or problem you want to solve or join your peers to forge relationships with potential co-founders and teammates.

There are two ways to participate: All Rice* students can enter to pitch their idea or attend and watch pitches from their peers.

There’s no selection process for pitches – everyone will get a chance to present for 60 seconds to share their vision and let the group know what you are looking for (e.g., co-founders, customers, supporters, friends, etc.).

You don’t need any particular background or prior practice – we’ll teach you how to give a compelling 60-second pitch of your idea to solve the problem you’re most passionate about.

Food and refreshments will be provided.

*NO* pitch prep and or presentation is required.
