The Economic Sociology Conference will be hosted by the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University on November 1-2, 2024. This conference serves as a forum for sharing ongoing research in the field of economic sociology, broadly defined, that occurs in sociology, business, public policy, education and other related departments.

Shuttle Service
A Rice University shuttle will provide transportation for participants between conference venues during the following times:
Friday, November 1
- 11:15am – 12:15pm – InterContinental Houston to McNair Hall
- 5:45pm – 6:45pm – McNair Hall to Hungry’s
- 8:00pm – 9:00pm – Hungry’s to InterContinental Houston
Saturday, November 2
- 7:30am – 8:30am – InterContinental Houston to McNair Hall
Please note that the Rice shuttle will make several trips during these times and can transport up to 30 people at a time. The hotel also provides a complimentary local area shuttle for guests that is first-come, first-served.
