Zach Davis
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Cheniere Energy
Zach Davis has served as chief financial officer of Cheniere Energy, Inc. since 2020 and as executive vice president since 2022.
Davis also serves as board director and chief financial officer of Cheniere Partners GP, the general partner of Cheniere Energy Partners, L.P. He is responsible for all finance functions of Cheniere as well as shared services, including information technology, supply chain, and communications.
Institutional Investor and Extel recognized Davis as the All-America Executive Team overall number-one–ranked chief financial officer in the Energy – Natural Gas and Master Limited Partnership sector in 2022, 2023, and 2024. Davis joined Cheniere in 2013 and has nearly twenty years of finance experience, primarily in the LNG, power, renewable energy, midstream, and infrastructure sectors. Before joining Cheniere, he held energy investment banking and project finance roles at Credit Suisse, Marathon Capital, and HSH Nordbank.
Davis serves as a board director of Houston’s Public Parks Tennis Foundation and the Houston 2026 FIFA World Cup Host Committee. He earned a Bachelor of Science in economics from Duke University.
