Sterling Dodd

Sterling S. Dodd is a commercial real estate developer, entrepreneur, combat veteran and a U.S. Army Reserve Civil Affairs officer. He’s also the founder and managing principal of Wolf Hill Investments, a firm specializing in disruptive build-to-rent modular, outdoor hospitality and innovative volumetric modular construction housing strategies.
Dodd actively serves on the Board of Directors for the Equitus Corporation, a defense-focused artificial intelligence infrastructure firm located in Tampa, Florida. Parallel to his civilian career, he serves as a captain in the U.S. Army Reserve’s 490th Civil Affairs Battalion. A Distinguished Military Graduate, Dodd completed two deployments to Iraq and one to Afghanistan, accruing more than 26 months in combat. He is a recipient of both the Purple Heart and Combat Infantryman’s Badge.
Dodd holds an MBA from Rice University’s Jones Graduate School of Business and a BBA in Entrepreneurship, with a minor in military science and leadership, from University of Houston’s C.T. Bauer College of Business. He and his spouse Rachel reside in Houston where they enjoy traveling, enriching their relationship with God and spending time with family and friends. He also enjoys Astros baseball, hunting, hiking, scuba diving, studying classical literature, geopolitical game theory and behavioral economics.
