What about the Rice MBA program has surprised you the most?
How diverse the curriculum was from qualitative data analytics to quantitate organizational behavior. The material not only covered the nuts and bolts that required the number crunching skills of an undergraduate but also the higher level thinking that lay in gray areas with no right answer that proved to be the most challenging.
What has been your favorite moment of your Rice MBA experience so far?
Going to Boston for the Reaching Out MBA conference and landing an internship with a company I have wanted to work for for years.
What is your favorite thing about and/or favorite spot in Houston?
Living and working in the Houston area for the past 7 years, my favorite thing about Houston is its diversity. As an engineer I worked on teams where I was the only American. Diversity leads to tons of upsides, my favorite being great food (Niko Niko pork chop dinner with feta fries)!
In a sentence, what is the one piece of advice you have for prospective students?
You are worth the investment.
