Masoud Jabbari
Lecturer in Marketing
Masoud Jabbari is a Lecturer in Marketing at Rice University’s Jones Graduate School of Business, where he teaches Customer Lifetime Value in the MBA program. His research focuses on quantitative marketing, empirical industrial organization, digital platforms, social media and influencer marketing, customer analytics, and online advertisement auctions. He is interested in understanding how consumers, firms, and platforms interact in digital markets, with particular emphasis on social media, influencer advertising, online marketplaces, customer relationship management, auction design, and data-driven marketing strategies.
Masoud studied for his Ph.D. in Economics at Rice University. He also received an M.Sc. in Economics and a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology. His research combines tools from economics, marketing, and data science to study digital markets and consumer behavior.
