Madeleine Garcia

Madeleine Garcia is an adjunct instructor in the MBA@Rice program, teaching Financial Accounting. She is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Information Systems Auditor with more than 10 years of experience spanning accounting, technology, operational transformation, and finance leadership. Madeleine currently serves as Head of Client Delivery & Technology at Ignition Consultants, a fractional CFO firm, where she leads operational strategy, AI-enabled process improvements, and client delivery initiatives.

Prior to her current role, Madeleine worked in public accounting and industry finance and has taught accounting courses at the University of Colorado Boulder, including Cost Management and Advanced Accounting. She is passionate about helping students connect accounting concepts to real-world business decisions and emerging technologies.
