Kofi S. Burney
Chief-Infrastructure and Applications Office, NASA
Currently Kofi is the Office Chief in the Infrastructure and Applications Office (IS) for the Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center (NASA). He has managed teams that worked on projects focused on infrastructure, telecommunications, and network based voice and video technologies. Kofi began his career as a computer engineer within the Mission Operations Directorate, the organization responsible for flying, training and supporting NASA Space Shuttle program.
He has served on the Board of the Houston Area Urban League Young Professionals, and the Center for Faith and Health Initiatives and currently serves on the board of the Houston Center for Photography. He has also participated in several Houston area leadership development programs such as Leadership Houston and the American Leadership Forum (ALF).
During his spare time Kofi enjoys snowboarding, photography, basketball, and running marathons. He is a Class of 2016 graduate from the Executive MBA program at Jones Graduate School of Business.
