Kevin Hays

Kevin is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Advance Energy Partners, LLC, an oil and gas company focused in the Permian Basin.  Advance is a portfolio company of EnCap Investments, LP.   Prior to joining Advance, Kevin worked for Royal Bank of Canada (“RBC”) from 2010 until 2015 as a Managing Director in their Energy Investment Banking Group.  Prior to RBC, Kevin worked in the Energy Investment Banking Group of KeyBanc Capital Markets for eight years, in addition to working in the Energy Investment Banking Group at Deutsche Bank.  Prior to his investment banking experience, Kevin worked for over three years as an Underwriter in the Energy Group of Zurich Financial Services.

Kevin received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois in 1995 and an MBA from Rice University in 2001, where he was a Jones Scholar.  Kevin is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
