What has been the most surprising part of your Rice Business experience?
The most surprising part of my experience at Rice Business has been how collaborative the school is across the undergraduates and MBA students. We have been able to work with the MBA students to build collaboration across recruitment processes which has helped us both learn from each others' experiences and gain more insight to the business school experience.
What has been your favorite thing about your Rice Business experience?
I have loved how much agency the business school gives us to try out new things. I have been able to work with my club in partnership with the business school to launch new events and initiatives on campus. The business school is happy to provide opportunities to students who want to launch new clubs on campus which has helped the undergraduate business experience really flourish on campus during my four years here.
What do you love most about Houston?
I love the proximity to the oil and gas industry. There's an awesome oil and gas exhibit at the Houston Natural Science Museum right down the street!
What is one piece of advice you would share with a prospective student?
Take the time to explore every possible career that interests you. Internships and classes are meant to help you understand what you like and you should use this time to explore instead of being locked in on one career too early.
