Gabriela Gerhart

Gabriela Gerhart is the founder of Motherhood Center, a Houston-based pregnancy, postpartum family wellness center and professional childcare agency she established in 2000. Born and raised in a small village in the Czech Republic, her passion for families and caregiving began early and evolved into a lifelong calling rooted in community, connection and compassionate support. With backgrounds in pediatric nursing and physical therapy and early experience working in a pediatric emergency room, Gabriela later moved to the United States as an au pair, an experience that revealed a critical gap in support for pregnant women and new mothers. That insight became the foundation for Motherhood Center, which now offers comprehensive services including nanny placements, newborn care specialists, doulas, education classes, prenatal and postpartum therapies, exercise programs and breastfeeding support.
