Donna Sims Wilson is the Chief Operating Officer of Kah Capital Management, a minority-owned private equity style alternate asset management firm. She recently was appointed to FuelCell Energy’s Board of Directors, where she will add oversight to new product commercial launches, navigating anticipated further global business expansion, and leadership in ESG efforts.
Decorated with several distinguished awards, she has over 30 years of financial services experience leading companies towards success. Previously, she was the President of Smith Graham & Co. Investment Advisors, a $6 billion investment management firm. She is also the Chair Elect of the National Association of Securities Professionals, a trade organization of both minorities and women who work on Wall Street. As a powerful and influential leader, Donna makes sure to give back to every community she is a part of through serving on committees focusing on growth and equity. She serves as the Executive Committee Member, Chair of the Education Committee at the Greater Houston Partnership.
She has received numerous industry awards including the 2012 “Women of Wall Street Industry Trailblazer Award” by Traders Magazine and the “Joyce Johnson Award” by The National Association of Securities Professionals. She was named “One of the Most Powerful Women in Business” by Black Enterprise Magazine and an “Influential Black Woman in Business” by The Network Journal, all in 2010.
