Tommy Pan Fang
Assistant Professor of Strategic Management
Tommy Pan Fang is an assistant professor of strategic management. His research interests lie in the intersection of strategic management, the economics of digitization and entrepreneurship. Pan Fang’s recent research has examined how digital platforms can sustain long-term growth and how digitization has impacted firms’ organization, strategic choices and performance. His work has appeared in print or is forthcoming in outlets such as Organization Science, Strategic Management Journal, and Academy of Management Annals.
His courses are on “Strategic Innovation & Competitive Advantage” (MBA) and “Strategic Management” (Undergraduate).
He received a Ph.D. in business administration from Harvard Business School and B.Sc. degrees in economics and computer science from the University of Pennsylvania.
