The Future of the Global Supply Chain
Join Alumni Relations for a panel on the future of the global supply chain on Tuesday, November 17 at 12 pm CT. Our panel will be moderated by Prof. David VanHorn '00, Professor in the Practice of Operations Management. Our panelists are Constantyn Chalitsios '11, Sheila Cohen '08, Chrissy Heller '15, and Pedro Rodriguez '09.
Constantyn Chalitsios serves as Senior Vice President Operations at Tenrivers, a provider of digital technologies transforming the oil and gas industry towards an energy industry that is economically sound and ecologically minded. Constantyn’s expertise includes operations, technology, and global supply chain. Prior to joining Tenrivers, he spent 23 years with Schlumberger, Baker Hughes, and Weatherford, most recently as Vice President Operations, and 4 years outside oil and gas with Canon and Philips.
Sheila Cohen is the Lead Engineering Manager - Warehouse for HEB. Past positions have included program management for Target and Honeywell, and quality management in the chemicals industry. Sheila has a BS in civil engineering as well as an ME in environmental engineering from Cornell.
Chrissy Heller is a Supply Chain Manager at Sysco. She has experience in category management, contract negotiations, merchandising, market research, and financial analysis. Before coming to Rice Business for her MBA, Chrissy worked in marketing and market research. Chrissy has an undergraduate degree from the University of Texas.
Pedro Rodriguez is a Procurement and Supply Chain leader for BP. Pedro is responsible for fostering the relationship and collaboration between BP GWO and its strategic suppliers. He has a specific focus on developing and implementing sector strategies, category management, materials management, and strategic relationship management. Pedro received a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Universidad Catolica Andres Bello in Caracas, Venezuela.Pedro is a board member of Rice Partners, Rice University.
