In the spirit of entrepreneurial support and collaboration, the Rice Entrepreneurship Acquisitions Lab acts as a unique opportunity for students and alumni to apply the lessons learned in the classroom and jump start their search for a business to buy as their pathway to entrepreneurship.
Buying a business is a life changing decision, and the fund provides access to mentors, professional advisors, debt financing, investors and a sounding board of peers. The fund conducts an intensive jump start program during a short-term period meant to set in motion this challenging process during the student’s last term. The fund continues to supports the entrepreneurs through the acquisition and beyond.
