Sylvia Liaw

Sylvia Liaw is a Vice President at Legacy Knight, a family office in Houston, where she is responsible for investment diligence, deal execution, and portfolio management. Prior to joining the firm, Sylvia was an Associate at Blackstone in New York, where she was involved in the evaluation and execution of private equity transactions in the infrastructure and energy sectors. Sylvia started her career in investment banking at Evercore in Houston, where she focused on mergers, acquisitions, and financing advisory to energy clients. Sylvia graduated from the Business Honors Program with high honors at The University of Texas at Austin. 

She grew up in Houston and intends to be there long-term to be close to her family and community. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis and trying new recipes. She is currently pursuing her MBA at Rice University.
