Sid Sen
Challenge Donor

Biography
I work at IHS Markit as a Director within the Energy practice. Outside of work, I enjoy biking, exploring new places, helping students at Rice University and supporting non-profit organizations in any manner possible. The possibilities which arise from bringing together people from different backgrounds together to discuss engaging topics always excites me and I engage in activities which facilitate this.
Why did you decide to step up as a challenge donor in honor of reunion?
Rice Business has had a very significant impact on my personal and professional life. Travelling from Mumbai, India to Rice University in Houston, Texas and being accepted by fellow students, who are extremely gifted, talented and intelligent is an invaluable experience. I decided to be a part of the challenge donor initiative out of gratitude for all that Rice Business has done for me. It would not be possible without this association.
What is your favorite memory from your time at Rice Business?
The collaboration with other teammates to get the projects completed on time is one of my favorite memories of Rice Business. This collaboration has led to life-long friendships which I will cherish forever.
What would you say to your classmates to inspire them to give in honor of their reunion?
Rice Business is looking for our engagement and support to improve the experience and offerings for current and future students along with us, the Rice Business Alumni. Let us support this initiative as we complete ten years of association with this amazing institution.
