Saurav’s multidisciplinary background—spanning business administration, public administration, therapeutic sciences, and the performing arts—provides him with a broad and distinctive perspective on ‘management’. His research interests focus on the role of ‘business’ in society and the ethical dimensions of strategy, with a strong commitment to addressing grand challenges such as inequality, corruption, and social injustice.
Before joining Rice, Saurav gained corporate experience at multinational companies, including the pharmaceutical giant Abbott, where he took up product and project management roles. As an emerging scholar, he is passionate about bridging academic research with practical solutions to promote socially and ethically responsible management practices.
