Rakhi Israni

Rakhi Israni is the Founder and President of Excel Test Prep, where she has led curriculum development, operations, and strategic growth since 2003. Under her leadership, the company has expanded significantly and serves students across multiple standardized testing programs. She also volunteers as Vice President of Government and Public Relations for Sewa International USA, where she leads a national team supporting more than 5,000 volunteers in 47 chapters. Her previous experience includes roles at Test Masters, Enron, and Dabhol Power in India, where she handled legal, finance, and compliance matters.

Rakhi holds an MBA from Rice Business, a J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center, and a BBA in marketing and international Business from the University of Texas at Austin. She earned an LL.M. with high honors from Columbia Law School in 2023. Rakhi currently serves on the boards of Vivekananda Yoga University, the Silicon Valley Interfaith Council, and AUM School, and is a former director of the State Bar of Texas and the Tri-City Interfaith Council. She lives in Fremont, CA, and continues to advocate for equity in education and inclusive community leadership.
