Michael Badertscher

Michael is an experienced media professional working out of the greater Denver area. He has spent over twenty years in Boulder County, Colorado and was VP of Visual Media and Director/Executive Producer with Gaiam, a lifestyle media company, where he created programs that introduced millions of people to yoga and meditation.
Prior to his time in Colorado, Michael worked for twenty years in Los Angeles as an editor and commercial finisher/effects compositor. He was Senior Editor at Pacific Ocean Post, a high-end post boutique in Santa Monica, working on major U.S. media campaigns for Nike, Mercedes, Coke, and FedEx. He has worked as a director, editor and picture/sound finisher.
In addition to his career in media, Michael is a 15 year volunteer firefighter/EMT for the Sugar Loaf Fire Protection District (Boulder County) and has served as the fire chief, assistant chief and training officer
