Luis Leyva
Senior Faculty Support Specialist
Born and raised in Zacatecas, Mexico, Luis Leyva has called Houston home since 2018. He joined Rice Business in 2023 as a Senior Faculty Support Specialist, supporting faculty and course operations while leading budgeting, process improvement, and data management initiatives. His work includes developing relational databases that strengthen compliance, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration. Passionate about continuous improvement, Luis builds systems that adapt to people, not the other way around, and takes pride in supporting the faculty and staff who make Rice Business run.
Luis holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Houston and is currently pursuing an MBA and a Master of Science in Finance from Indiana University.
