LaMecia Butler has extensive experience in the corporate and nonprofit sector where she has led communication, marketing, community and supplier diversity efforts for well-known brands and companies including Meta Platforms, Inc., Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund, Super Bowl 50 (San Francisco Bay Area) and Super Bowl LI (Houston), American Express and more. Both as an employee and entrepreneur, she has worked with countless business professionals and entrepreneurs on a global scale to help them develop and achieve their goals. She holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (Marketing) and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication (Public Relations) from Rice University and the University of Texas at San Antonio, respectively. She has served as an executive and advisory board member for nonprofit organizations seeking to close the gap for historically excluded communities in business, education, disaster recovery and economic development. A native Houstonian, she spends her down time enjoying the amazing food, cultural and sporting events the nation's best city has to offer.
