Julio Arrieta

A computer scientist by education and brand strategist by trade, Julio heads up brand leadership and shapes agency growth by directly engaging in client projects requiring CMO-grade strategy and execution. He has 24 years of experience across a variety of industries, including technology, financial services, retail, food, media and professional services. Brands that he’s helped build or revitalize include Microsoft, Nintendo, Verizon, Mercedes-Benz, HP, The Wall Street Journal, Frontier, Neoris, Bank of America, Yard House, Dannon, and Samsung, among many others. Previously, as chief marketing officer of Blue Casa Telecommunications, he led marketing, corporate communications and change management to transform a regional home phone company into a provider of internet, entertainment and value-added services. He also served as SVP, managing partner for Bravo West, WPP’s Hispanic advertising agency based on the West Coast, leading the Microsoft, Chevron, Foster Farms, and Mazda accounts. Earlier, he served as chief marketing officer for Neoris, a global strategy and technology consulting services firm. Julio’s experience also includes eight years with Nintendo of America, where he led marketing, distribution and public relations for the Latin America division, a $500 million operation in 12 countries. Julio’s nonprofit experience includes serving as board member of the San Francisco Interactive Industry Group, vice-chair of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce Technology Council, and executive vice-president of the U.S.-Mexico Chamber of Commerce in Miami.
