José Garza

José Garza is a Full-Time MBA student graduating in May 2025. He is a co-chair of strategic communications for the Rice Energy Finance Summit. Prior to joining Rice Business, he attended law school in Monterrey, Mexico and gained extensive experience as a corporate lawyer in the energy industry.

José now works on the asset management team of SoftBank Group’s SB Energy, where he focuses on contract review, risk assessment and strategic planning for operational excellence. In his free time, José enjoys outdoor activities.
