What about the Rice MBA program has surprised you the most?
That I can not only pass, but do well in math intensive courses like accounting and finance! This is a testament to how wonderful the professors are. Also, what I learn in the classroom transfers to the workplace immediately.

What has been your favorite moment of your Rice MBA experience so far?
My favorite moment is more of a collection of moments. I've not only expanded my network, but I've gained so many wonderful people that I now consider close friends. From poker nights to dinner and wine nights, this group of people have become my life in and out of the classroom.

What is your favorite thing about and/or favorite spot in Houston?
My favorite spot in Houston is anywhere that lets me bring my two furry "children" (dogs), Missy & April!

In a sentence, what is the one piece of advice you have for prospective students?
In one of my favorite movies, A League of Their Own, Tom Hanks' character says, “It's supposed to be hard. If it were easy, everyone would do it.” The same can be said about Rice's MBA program. It's hard, however, this is what makes it worth the effort! Take heart, you will be surrounded by greatness to keep you motivated throughout the entire process!
